How is everybody? I have a proposition.
I've been thinking a lot lately about Rus' Kickstarter project that I was so very fortunate to be a part of. Seeing my work in print is always a great high and Rus did a phenomenal job of bringing everything together.
I've also been thinking about Pat's foray into self-publishing. It is inspirational, especially since the caliber of his work is so high. (I've bought the first issue and I'm about to order the second).
My fingers are now itching to draw something comic-booky. Anyone else coming down with that same affliction?
So, here it is. I believe it's been about 20 years since Cafe DNA's inception. I'm suggesting that we, CafeDNA, pool our talents and publish an anthology of our own. It's overdue, don't you think? We could pick a general theme. Have the project crowdsourced. I can look into having it printed north of the border or we could take the Amazon route. Rus and Pat could help us wade through those waters. I hope that's not assuming too much. Who's interested?
I'd be more than willing to offer up my inking skills to whoever needs them. I'm hoping that it could be a labor of love for each and every one of us. What say you?
Could we get a...
"Cafe DNA assemble!"
or a
"Cafe DNA powers activate. Form of a comic book anthology!"
... or something along those lines?
